After an intense period of weight training and engaging in 7 on 7 drills throughout the summer, The Hawks are gearing up for an exciting season ahead. On August 6, the team kicks off their preparations with full pads practices, a change that signals the transition from off-season training to getting fully prepared as they set their sights on their first game of the season against Colombia scheduled for August 29th.

The Hawks have dedicated themselves to rigorous training over the summer months, starting their days bright and early at 6 o'clock in the morning and working until 10 o'clock. As the school year rolls around, the team continues to train now directly after school for an three hours past the school day, ensuring that they maximize their preparation time for the coming games.

With the full pad workouts now underway, it is clear that the Hawks are fully immersed in the preparations for the upcoming season. This shift to full pads is not just a physical change; it symbolizes the competition and intensity of the season. The excitement surrounding the team is intense, as fans and players alike eagerly anticipate what promises to be another thrilling season of Hawks football. The anticipation is even further heightened by the words of 5 Star Safety Bralan Womack, who recently shared his enthusiasm in a Hartfield Football Instagram Reel, claiming, "Him [Coach Bowman] and Bralan Womack! The best coach and player duo in the nation!" This statement not only highlights the strong relationship and mutual respect between the players and the coaching staff but also sets the stage for the high expectations that come with being part of such a talented and driven team coming in as the 2 time defending 6A state champions.

The upcoming season promises to be filled with challenges, triumphs, and unforgettable moments, and it is evident that The Hawks are ready to rise to the occasion. With a solid foundation built through summer training and a supportive coaching staff, the team is well-positioned to make a significant impact in the MAIS. Fans can look forward to witnessing the fruits of the players younger and older's hard work and determination translate into amazing gameplay and exciting performances throughout the season.
