Stories of Faith and Love Steeped In The South

The Hartfield Drumline kicks of the season this week by getting two new cadences so far this year to perform during games and pep rallies.  The two new cadences will have their debut this fall adding to there already great playbook of performances. However this year, pep rallies are getting shortened to 5 rallies a year instead of every home game limiting the Drumline's and other teams performances but extending their practice times before performances. This change has the potential to help or harm the Drumline by strengthening the mastery in new and practicing old cadences while limiting their performances. A big win for Drumline this year is the new funding received for new drum cases for easier travel so the drumline can play not only at home games but most away games as well. Grayson Porter Captain of the Drumline states, "i think that we are going to have more activity because we can travel more and it will hype up the crowd. We got the funding for new cases because the old cases were one bad bump from breaking itll allow us to travel more." The new traveling ability will allow our Drumline to compete and show their skill in front of other schools which opens up many new opportunities. Grayson Porter also added"I'm excited about passing on the torch to the new group of leaders and I'm excited about seeing the future of drumline." The Drumline is moving forward at amazing pace and it'll be amazing to see them in action in the coming weeks and even in the coming years with the rising talent!
